nyc: day 1

So today was our first real day in nyc. We went down to Soho to do some shopping, and it was absolutely crazy!!! Every store was completely disheveled and people were frantically running around searching for deals. But i managed to make it out alive, and with a few deals too!! I went into Madewell, Uniqlo, Topshop, No. 6, Camper, Longchamp, Zara, and Urban Outfitters.
I got a pair of trousers from Urban Outfitters:

And i got a shirt from Topshop:

And then i got a ring from Topshop. Tomorrow's my last full day here so i'm hoping that i'll be able to find myself a nice pair of leather boots and possibly some more clothes. Well folks, i'm down in the big apple this year for boxing week, and i'm super excited to do some serious shopping. Just stretching my legs from the long car ride and decided to some blogging, cause i know i haven't done a post in a really long time. But hopefully i'll get back into posting more often in the new year! Happy holidays to all of you!! Get anything good? All i want is juicy...

I really want the Couture Couture by Juicy Couture perfume for christmas.
I asked for perfume last christmas and i ended up with 2 bottles of really crappy perfume.
So i'm excited to finally have a nice fragrance!

Hey guys, sorry for my little hiatus there. I've been so busy with schoolwork lately and i got so side tracked from blogging. From now until december my blogging may be a little irregular but hopefully i will be doing a post about once a week.
I have to start making a wish list cause before i know it, christmas will be around the corner.
I'm thinking about asking for a nice leather bag and maybe some cool heels. But i haven't really looked much yet so i have to get on that.

Well guys, something very exciting has happened.
The other day i went onto my email, and i see that i have an email from someone named Folga and Fela.
Curious, i click on it and begin to read. The email turned out to be from a company called Alex Folzi.
They want to send me one of their briefcases (for free) so that i can do a photo-shoot with it for them.
I decided to ask for the red one, so that i can match it with some red lipstick. Well i'm super excited- i never imagined that this would happen to me!! Here's the one they're sending to me:

Well, there's always christmas. But these are probably a boatload of cash, more than my little piggy bank can handle, sadly. 

the time has come, the walrus said

So, yesterday (which was thursday), my mum had her piece in the Gardiner Museum in Toronto (which is a pretty big deal). So the cousins and Ellie (Who is my younger sister, for those of you who didn't know), all trekked down to the Museum and saw the show, which was really cool. And they had cake so that was a plus. Also, we did a photo-shoot, courtesy of my cousin Ali. It turned out amazingly well, and i am so happy with the pictures!!

So in some of the picture i have a rather unfortunate bulge in my  pocket, courtesy of my wonderfully shitty cellphone. thanks a lot phone, thanks.

The past couple of days here in Toronto have been so cold, compared to the summer long heat-wave that we've been having. But, nonetheless, my cousin Ali still agreed to do a photo-shoot for me. Here are some of the pictures:

while i was reading another blog i saw they were wanting to get a new pair of heels- so, being curious, i checked out the pair that they wanted and found myself falling in love for a pair of look-a-like muimui's.

Anyways, here they are. of course they could never match up to the beautiful muimui's, but on my budget, they are perfect! they are from forever21 so i'm probably never  going to find them- but a girl can dream right?

school is starting in a week- not looking forward to early mornings after a summer of waking up at noon.
